Terry Burke Dotson has announced her candidacy for the Millbury Planning Board.
Dotson, who has lived in Millbury for 50 years, had several gaps in her residence to serve in the military, the Army National Guard, Air Force Reserve, Navy Reserve, Marine Corps, Dotson served in the military for 33 years, including service in Afghanistan.
Dotson has served five terms on the planning board; her last term ended in 2023 when she lost a
re-election bid to Tony Ngo. Dotson has an extensive record of service to the town, serving nine years on the local housing partnership; three years on the water study committee; five years on the fair housing committee; five years on the electro-magnetic fields study committee; six years on the Millbury Youth Commission; six years on the ponds and lakes commission; and six years on the master plan committee. She also served as Millbury’s delegate to the Central Mass
Regional Planning Commission.
