I am a JFK/FDR Democrat.
For the last 3 years, I have spoken out for reinstating GLASS-STEAGALL.
My opponent states, “It doesn’t have anything to do with state representatives, it is a federal banking issue”. However, both Democratic and Republican Presidential platforms will reinstate GLASS-STEAGALL.
Towns get state funding. States get federal funding. When GLASS-STEAGALL is reinstated, most of our $18 trillion national debt will be eliminated. As in FDR’s plan, the federal government will grant money to the states to improve our quality of life thru roads, dams, education, health care, etc.
I will work to get that GLASS-STEAGALL money for us.
My opponent’s only claim to fame is that he has a 100% attendance and voting record. That honestly means he “shows up” at the State House about 60 times a year for a roll call vote, and votes the way his Republican Leader tells him. There is no time clock or daily attendance recording. He gets paid anyway.
He states, “I’m too young to qualify for any retirement benefits even at 20 years of service”. Does that mean that we have to pay his salary, and keep his locked office on the 5th floor, down the hallway from the stored tables and boxes, as a place where a representative can survive unnoticed?
I support the referendum petition to repeal the badly written “Transgender Anti-Discrimination” law. At present, “All persons shall be granted full enjoyment of a public accommodation, consistent with the person’s gender identity.”
Transgender people aren’t a threat. But this law doesn’t prevent male sexual predators or perverts from saying “I feel like a woman today”, enter female restrooms, locker rooms, etc., and pose a threat to our children and vulnerable females.
I would help to rewrite it as every public facility shall provide a “one-at-a-timer restroom” for use by a family, or a handicapped or transgender person.
I served 33 years in the military reserves. I support veterans and the Second Amendment.
I serve on the Millbury Youth Commission, Ponds and Lakes Commission, Master Plan Committee, and previously 12 years on the Planning Board.
I work full-time at a public high school helping students with learning challenges.
My opponent calls me “passionately delusional”…and stated that I wore my “pajamas” to the State House.
It’s time for my opponent, Paul Frost, to leave.
Fill in the “Dot” for DOTSON.
